Simplified Tai Chi Chuan – Simplified 24 postures with applications and 48 standard positions

Image : http://www.flickr.com

"Simplified Tai Chi Chuan: 24 postures with simplified applications and 48 standard positions" with Master Liang Shou-Yu YMAA is an excellent DVD of all who learn or understand, Tai Chi Chuan desires. For many Tai Chi training videos to choose from, this is a wise choice.

The DVD starts recognizing there's a companion book that some aspects need clarification. Then there is a brief introduction to the philosophy that supports and benefits of practicingTai Chi Chuan. As the narrator explains, you see a video of Master Liang Tai Chi Chuan movements and the realization of other scenes that complement the story.

Next is a brief history of the section of Tai Chi Chuan has been interesting and a little blurb about how to obtain forms. From here the disc is in posture 24 (Taiwan), Tai Chi Chuan postures. Master Liang first show the entire form, with subtitles appearing below him to name each of the 24 positions. This is alarge preview of what is being taught, and a good reference, what you are doing the completed form should be similar. The DVD then shows the completed form from the front, without subtitles, and then again. Please note, the video will be a bit 'more than 25 minutes at this point. (There is a long DVD, which I found to be a mark as YMAA pack so much into their products as possible, which I greatly appreciate as a consumer.)

The form is then executed again withSubtitles at the bottom of providing breathing instructions. The subtitles tell you when to inhale and exhale when moving. This is actually a very important aspect of Tai Chi Chuan and all martial arts, and I liked that it was registered. It will be a valuable tool for people, their breathing exercise, like the form that every time something should be done.

Next is the 24 posture of applications. This section shows each of the 24 positions that alone and thenSelf-application for an attacker who is running in slow motion and then speed. Several applications are shown for some positions. There is no "education" in this section for illustrative or demonstration. (For me, the lessons taught by a teacher talking really explain, and show all together. Of course, for video, in person, the teacher also helps to correct errors, etc.)

The DVD then goes into more detail for each posture. This is done with a picture or a representation of the attitudes and applications of Master Liang with Voice-Over-statement of movements. I prefer the DVD, where the teacher speaks, in fact, one of the things rather than a voiceover. I think it's more like the teaching of teachers. However, the voice-over done well on this DVD and if the public is not what is said and continue with Master Liang, the module can be learned. This part of the program is the "meat" with regard to teachingof 24 positions.

Now that the 24 posture form is completed, the program enters the history of the 48 posture Tai Chi Chaun. This is a younger woman, Kelly Maclean, proving the form of short stories. Then he leads the entire module 48 posture with subtitles for the location name. As in the previous Form 24 postures, repeated without subtitles.

The program does not show the rear view forward, but go right for details of the 48 positionsPortion. Did not occur, the instructions for the movements, which are also contained in the Form 24 posture. As mentioned, the statement coming from a voiceover while Maclean leads the movement. This section does not include military applications. Following the closing position of the body, ending programs and goes straight to the credits.

The DVD also contains a presentation of positions, which is basically pictures of positions, as found in a book, with the location namewith pleasant music playing page. I liked the music, but I do not know if these films help with lessons, since moving video it shows much better images. (So is this DVD as a companion to the book is ideal) In any case, it was an interesting additional feature.

The production quality is first class, as I did with all the DVD YMAA I found so far. There are over 100 chapters, to provide parts of the DVD that you want to helpStudy. But I wanted the menu would have broken a bit 'more. For example, among the 24 attitudes retail area, starting from the beginning. If you want, posture 15, you must press the SKIP button to scroll all the others go to get there. This is quite easy to do, but it would be nice to have each position listed in the menu. (It would be a huge menu, though) Like other YMAA DVD included in this catalog and the YMAA video previews of other products.

There area lot of videos out there of Tai Chi. Some are good, some are horrible. This is definitely one of the good. There are a lot of information presented in a clear format. If you want to practice or be Tai Chi Chuan practice, this DVD a great resource compliment what you learn in a class, or if you have bad luck, not teachers, this DVD will help you explore your home and you can certainly learn lot from him, if put into practice the time for what the DVDteaches.

Where to stay in Pattaya, Thailand

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Pattaya is located on the southern coast of Thailand. Just hours away from Bangkok by taxi, and is thus easily reached by taxi from Suvarnabhumi Airport. The taxi driver will charge a flat rate of 1500THB 2000THB to about $ 45US to $ 60US. If you talk a bit 'in Thai, as you have a good chance the price of collective bargaining. Taxis are available at the airport or just flag one in Bangkok.

There aremany reasons why people stay in Pattaya, even though most remain there as a weekend in the main tourist attractions of Bangkok. But the main reason why a large number of visitors to Pattaya is to witness and participate in the noisy night life, is like a buffet, hungry survivors on a desert island. And there are other reasons, such as Pattaya to visit the nearby beaches. Although PattayaOfficials are trying to clean up pollution on its beaches, which are strongly advised to make a trip to outer islands such as Ko Lan. Ko Lan is a boat trip of 45 minutes and the island is a paradise for swimmers, such as the beaches of Pattaya principal may not be suitable for ideal conditions for snorkeling and diving. But it is certainly not only good for a bit 'of kayaking and water sports.

The most important issue is when the best time to visitPattaya. October to February is ideal, because the heat and the humidity is bearable. This also means that you will pay more for hotel deals this fall, during high season. So to book in advance, the room you want. During the heat and humidity season, ensuring your holiday experience unpleasant. The rain will happen in Thailand, regardless of the season but the showers do not last too long.

KnowWhen you arrived in the city of Pattaya, you will see the street with go-go bars, billiard clubs, bars and clubs lined up. You certainly know that there are when you pull back and forth against women working in factories inside It 's a show that you can not miss especially when the neon lights of the heavens and scantily clad women to shine light on the streets. This is certainly not a place for childrenbut it is not an uncommon sight to see, tourist Thai children and their parents go hand in hand, gawking at all. However, you will often see families wandering around the western red-light district with his parents for their children's eyes.

The great thing about Pattaya range of accommodation is decently far from all the night scenes life or you can right in the middle of the action. And any budgetYou can afford, there is no doubt that an accommodation is suitable for your wallet and lifestyle to find. The general rule is, the more secluded the property is more expensive, the prices are. There are two important stretch of Pattaya Beach. Pattaya Bay is the largest and most visited and Jomtien Beach, which offers a bit 'secluded. So consider this if you have a hotel in Pattaya, if you want, selectaddress the noise and overcrowding.

Well, if you just go to Pattaya to enjoy and experience the nightlife, then you should live somewhere near or close to Walking Street. Do not miss this road, because this is the tourist center. This road is full of plenty of Thai dingy outdoor bar, bar with beer Muay matches, discos and a few scraps of massage parlors catering to men. Whatever your intentions arePattaya, as you visit safe walking Street. A caveat, however, Walking Street, you can be strong and if you do not mind being harassed by Thai transsexuals, called Lady-Boys and then drunk tourists might want to book your vacation a bit 'far from there is quite turbulent.

You are in sports, but do not want to pay too much money to stay in all inclusive resorts? Kayak and Jet SkiOn the beach can be rented for a very reasonable price. You can also conveniently massage on the beach, just meters away from the rolling waves. The great thing about holiday in Pattaya, Thailand, and is overall a small budget can go a long way. Beer and food can be had for a very reasonable price, thanks to favorable exchange rates.

Pattaya is started as a small fishing village and now is important as a touristDestination with a great name, though the hotels are standing shoulder with mom and pop operations. Rumors of corporate big wigs are trying to move in the spruce the value of Pattaya. But they will never succeed. Pattaya is always one of the best places to party and its unique character and charm can never be changed.

Tea Sabah, Sarawak Pepper and Darius Rice – What they have in common?

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Tea Sabah, Sarawak Pepper and Darius Rice, along with Virgin coconut oil Borneo, Sabah and algae Tenom coffee, stood as the only six geographical indications registered in Malaysia.

Geographical indications (GIs) are one of the lesser-known intellectual property rights in Malaysia. Maybe this is why the low number of soldiers protected.

GI in Malaysia are governed by the Geographical Indications Act 2000. According to the Act means GI Creditthe goods so identified as originating in a country or territory, region or locality in that country or territory where a given quality, reputation or other characteristic of the good is essentially attributable to its geographical origin. "The law allows the request to the manufacturer (s) of products from the geographical area, the competent authority or professional organization or association for GI registration.

Examples of GI from Europe are famous for their sparkling wine champagneMozzarella, feta cheese, Tuscan olive oil, Parma ham. GI may be familiar with the Malaysians could be more basmati rice, Ceylon tea, Assam tea, Darjeeling tea, Persian carpets, silk sarees and Thai Kanjeepuram.

There are some difficulties that may arise from the registry and the development of a GI. For example, a consensus on relevant / region and the needs of product quality has not come so easily (you can see the latest edition ofPuer tea popular among the Chinese provinces of Yunnan and Guangdong) In contrast to brands that are usually held by individuals or legal entities. A GI is usually judged by a number of people. Fortunately, these difficulties with a series of meetings between the manufacturer of the goods or the creation of a commission to decide the issues of GI, to be resolved. In Malaysia, an example of a board, an IM should be recorded and monitored the Pepper Marketing Board, a federalBody, the GI "Sarawak Pepper" for pepper and pepper products from Sarawak (a state in eastern Malaysia) recorded.

GI's, should be identified and protected, because They only offer the possibility for producers market to Their products better and thus increase their income, but also to promote GI's high quality standards of production and promotion of tourism in the region.

Consumers these days are increasingly demanding products thatbuy and are willing to pay more for quality. IM offering, which is synonymous with quality. In this sense, GI are similar to famous brands such as call them good quality products for which the GI or trademark is applied.

Unfortunately, the quality is not an IM promotes third challenge producers in the region on the goodwill of IM and their products as coming from the same region as the GI label specified. Consequently, the GI value isdiluted and consumers will be misled. Efforts should be made by producers to protect their soldiers recorded. Use strict legal action against third parties who have no right to be taken, the GI's. It should however be noted that while registered GIs nature provide some protection for producers, GI is an intellectual property such as trademarks and patents, protection of national or regional, not global. IM should be sought in other countries(Where there is a registration system) But there are strong legal protection for soldiers. Otherwise, users against false the tort of passing off (if it exists in a given country).

Udon Thani Thailand

Image : http://www.flickr.com

Udon Thani is the capital of the province of Udon Thani in the northeast (Isaan region) of Thailand. The hotel is located 560 km from Bangkok, travel to the city is made easy by regular air, rail and bus lines. Udon is a transport hub linking all major cities. The same province is recognized as one of the poorest regions of Thailand, with agriculture (mainly rice and sugar cane) as its main industry apart from its transportation hub. The city itself has never crawled behindHe turns his arm and take you on a rollercoaster ride, you need to poke and prod it, shake it to life and then be pleasantly surprised by what it has to offer.

Shopping Chareonsri The Compact is a good place as any to start, a modern commercial center full of everything you want to buy what you are, clothing, jewelry, fashion accessories, DVD, mobile phones, souvenirs, household appliances, photographic and many other products. A supermarket, restaurants, fast foodOutlets, exchange of money cinemas and Ten Pin Bowling Chareonsri make one of the best shopping outside Bangkok.

Try an early morning visit of Nong Prajak Park used by locals for jogging and exercise, walk around the lake and admire the flowers and plants, then eat breakfast in Thai style in one of the many stands opposite. If you do not want then to a full English breakfast best to find what is on offer at Irish Pub in Soi Clock Sampantamit Road (5A few minutes from Mall Chareonsri) air conditioning, bar with a large Thai and Western menus. Getting into town is easy with numerous small bus, Samlor (as a tuk tuk), and two bike parking spaces.

Some hotels have swimming pools, which offer a pleasant way to spend the afternoon, the hotel Napalai one that is open to non-hotel guests. If you rent a car to drive 50 miles east to the Ban Chiang archaeological site of the Bronze AgeSome experts dating back 5000 years, or travel 50 km north of the border town of Nong Khai. In Nong Khai is possible in a restaurant in the beautiful Indo-China market seat overlooking the Mekong river, eating, delicious grilled fish and Laos overlooking the water.

Night time in Udon and really spoiled for choice by the plethora of Thai and Western restaurants, a ten minute walk from the shopping Compact Chareonsri, Centre Point Night Market (near the railwaystation), we pass several restaurants. The night market is a must place with its abundance of stalls selling a wide range of products and see if you're still hungry, there are food stalls and restaurants sit here. Centre Point is a cluster of bars where you can sit and drink and view sport or music on a giant screen. For the more adventurous night before heading Sampantamit Road Soi and there should be plenty of bars and action to make the eveningencouraging. All in all, Udon Thani offers much for everyone, but You have to get out there and products to poke a shock to wake up and see Udon worth a visit … my opinion …. Udon Thani is to spend a good location for a week or two singles, couples and families with three vor four days would be ideal if you or from northern Thailand on the road.

Travel Thailand – Chiang Mai Elephant Nature Park

Image : http://www.flickr.com

It is not uncommon for the trumpet in the night in a bar or restaurant in Chiang Mai and hear the sound of an elephant. Yet almost looks like a typical day in the life of an ordinary elephant. Unfortunately for some, but it was right that, although numbers have declined dramatically in recent years, a handful of road mahouts still take these creatures of the jungle to beg in traffic on a pub crawl night food. They run around with bags of peanuts, the mostcrowded tourist areas, grants will be marketed and fed peanuts to elephants. Many people are also some financial assistance in order to get a picture next to them, while tipping a cocktail. Admittedly, is a bit 'new and hardly something that most Western experience in their hometown.

Elephants have many years an integral part of Thai society and culture for hundreds. They were often used in battles as a vehicle for kings and othersroyal officials. At a time when the population of elephants in Thailand was about 100,000 compared to about 4,000 today. Elephants were often captured and used to access and then, after it was outlawed in late 1980, went many in the tourism industry appeared in several shows, hiking areas, along with street begging, and often abused.

A person, but has sought successfully to end the abuse of elephants and sends them to a natural environment is a woman byreferred to as "Lek". It 'hard to imagine at first glance that they can contain petite frame larger than life is spirit.

I read when I was examined Lek, elephant trekking and camps for a friend of the site. I had not thought much about the ethics of various package tours, up to an article I describe this woman, who had by Time Magazine as "Asian Hero of the Year in 2005, called" races. The more I read about his work with elephantsand the Elephant Nature Park, not turned persuaded to abandon much of the city of Chiang Mai, I could not help but feel that suggest other places in the kingdom.

There is a wealth of information for all stakeholders and the elephant riding tourist office has stacks of brochures to choose from. I, the other side to find out more about them, along with alternatives. I drove out of town early one morning for about an hour and walked towards the entrance of the Elephant Nature Park, you hadI expect, and when we arrived, a woman standing near the pool house nod and beckoned me to come. And 'Lek and she was busy helping to prepare a meal daily for more than 60 full-time employees and several volunteers.

Upstairs, visitors per day and executives have been collected, coffee and tea drinking in a large Thai-style wooden buildings. The reasons, if managed properly preserved the natural beauty of the jungle retreat surrounded by a lot of open spaceBergen. I took a seat near a tree and soak in the beautiful surroundings.

About 30 minutes later Lek motioned to follow, and we went to a group of elephants. There was no conversation. I just stood there watching while stroking and playing with an elephant in 4 months for more than 30 minutes. He told me later that this was part of their daily lives.

is in contrast to typical elephant camps there elephant at Elephant Nature Park race norShows organized. However, there is absolutely no shortage of entertainment to watch their behavior and often quite playful in their daily flow of time. The park guests are invited to participate in the swimming creatures under certain guidelines for safety.

All elephants Lek bought it immediately in their efforts to save some kind of physical or psychological abuse. Outside the restaurant, on the wall are photos with a brief biography of each displayedone. The camp is from private donations, including volunteer funded by fees paid.

In the afternoon, once had time to break from their daily activities elephants, Lek and I sat on a tree, and told me more about the mahout. My goal is definitely to get the elephants off the road again, she is in tune with them and the trainers. He feels that an alternative that can either make a living. All fields have their mahoutsFood, accommodation and a monthly stipend. It helps to obtain legal documents for those who arrive without documents. His tone lacked mahout case, but a greater need for education and understanding. Speaking softly but determined, he expressed a desire for their country men to be more interested in the fate of these endangered animals are increasing.

Meanwhile, the elephants graze freely in pastures surrounding quietly with their mahouts Sat near, some alone, others insmall groups. From time to time during our conversation Lek them a quick look, like a mother, as she watched the children playing in a park, the link between Lek and their staff is so obvious as with the elephant. There is mutual respect, which lingers in the air and emits a shared love, they call every sense of the sanctuary is now home.

Volunteers can enroll in a program, living in the park overnight or up to four weeks and participate in everyday life in mammalsincluding health and work with the mahouts. In order to alleviate stress and keep the elephants a safe environment, only a small number of tourists crowd the park you can Every day.

Future plans include the purchase of additional land allows more elephants and trainers that have become part of this conservation project. Elephant Nature Park offers a unique alternative for mahouts street children and tourists. They do not allow unscheduled visits, but there is an office in Chiang MaiCities with detailed information on the organization of tours.
